The ADE7854 multi-phase multifunctional energy metering IC is a highly accurate, 3-phase energy metering IC with serial interface and three flexible pulse outputs. They are available in various 3 and 4-wire 3-phase configurations, such as star or triangular connections. The device includes waveform sampling registers to enable access to the full range of analogue-to-digital converter outputs.

The ADE7854 also features power quality measurements such as short-time low or high voltage detection, short-time high current variations, line voltage duration measurements, and phase voltage and current inter-angle.  The ADE7854 has two interrupt request pins, IRQ0 and IRQ1, to indicate the occurrence of an enabled interrupt event.
