Overview:
The RX23E-B series microcontrollers feature a built-in analogue front end (AFE), making them ideal for industrial sensor devices. The RX23E-B's 24-bit Delta Sigma analogue-to-digital converter offers improved high-speed and noise performance over the previous generation RX23E-A. The maximum data rate is 125kSPS. The maximum data rate of 125kSPS is very fast for a Delta Sigma A/D converter, and is 8 times faster than the RX23E-A. RMS noise has been reduced to about 1/3 of that of the RX23E-A, enabling high-speed and high-precision measurement of strain gages, temperature, pressure, flow, current, voltage signals, and more. In addition, the RX23E-B integrates a 16-bit digital/analog converter and +/-10V high-voltage analogue signal input circuitry, reducing the overall bill of materials (BOM) and footprint. Equipped with the RXv2 core, this CPU provides excellent digital signal processing (DSP)/floating-point operation (FPU) for high-precision measurement, control, and communication on a single chip.
