Amphenol ICC's CFP2 series offers a 104-bit, 0.6 mm pitch connector designed for compatibility with 100Gb/s format pluggable (CFP) multi-source protocols in Ethernet and other applications. Available for multi-Gb/s systems, it consists of an insertion-molded assembly with top contacts and a press-fit cage assembly.The CFP2 is rated at 25Gb/s per channel, features resonance suppression for improved signal integrity, and consumes 60% less power than the CFP. An optional jockey heatsink ensures proper heat dissipation. Compatible with IEEE and ITU-T applications, the CFP2 footprint meets the requirements of other industry suppliers.
