The NFVA35065L32 is an advanced intelligent power module (IPM) that provides a full-featured, high-performance inverter output stage for use in hybrid and electric vehicles. These modules integrate an optimised gate driver with built-in IGBT to minimise EMI and losses, and also offer several on-module protection features including under-voltage lockout, over-current shutdown, high temperature monitoring of the driver IC and fault reporting. The built-in high speed HVIC requires only one supply voltage and will convert the incoming logic level gate input into the high voltage, high current drive signal required to properly drive the module's internal IGBT. Separate negative IGBT terminals are provided for each phase to support the widest range of control algorithms.
