The low-cost AM62x Sitara™ MPU family of application processors is built specifically for Linux® application development. With scalable Arm® Cortex®-A53 performance and embedded features, such as dual display support and 3D graphics acceleration, as well as a broad set of peripherals, AM62x devices are well suited for a wide range of industrial and automotive applications, while also providing intelligent functionality and an optimized power architecture.

The 13mm x 13mm package (ALW) model of the AM62x Sitara™ processor is an industrial-grade processor, while the 17.2mm x 17.2mm package (AMC) model meets the AEC-Q100 automotive standard. Industrial and automotive functional safety requirements can be met with an integrated Cortex-M4F core and dedicated peripherals that are isolated from the rest of the AM62x processor.
