Vishay SiC463 microBuck® regulators are wide input voltage, high efficiency, synchronous DC-DC buck converters with integrated high-side and low-side power MOSFETs. the power poles of these devices are capable of supplying high continuous currents at switching frequencies up to 2MHz. These regulators use input voltage rails from 4.5V to 60.0V to generate adjustable output voltages down to 0.8V to suit a wide range of applications including computing, consumer electronics, telecom and industrial applications.

The SiC463 is structured to provide ultra-fast transient response and minimal output capacitance for accurate regulation of ripple even under ultra-light loads. These devices achieve loop stability regardless of the type of output capacitor used, including low-ESR ceramic capacitors. These devices also include a power saving mode, which significantly improves efficiency at light loads. These regulators feature a full range of protection, including over-current protection (OCP), output overvoltage protection (OVP), short-circuit protection (SCP), output undervoltage protection (UVP) and over-temperature protection (OTP). They also feature UVLO for the input rails and a user-programmable soft start.

The Vishay SiC463 DC-DC microBuck converters are available in the lead-free, power-enhanced PowerPAK MLP55-27L package.
