The AIS328DQTR is an ultra-low-power, high-performance 3-axis linear accelerometer with a digital serial interface SPI that supports standard outputs. An I²C compatible interface is also available. The device features an ultra-low power operating mode that supports the implementation of advanced power saving and smart sleep-wake functions.
The AIS328DQTR has a dynamic user-selectable full scale range of ±2 g/±4 g/±8 g and measures acceleration at output data rates from 0.5 Hz to 1 kHz. A self-test feature allows the user to check that the sensor is working properly in the final application. The device can be configured to generate interrupt signals from inertial wake-up events or from the position of the device itself. The threshold and timing of the interrupt signal generator can be programmed in real time by the end user.
The AIS328DQTR is available in a small square-flat-panel no-lead (QFPN) package measuring 4x4 mm to accommodate the trend towards miniaturisation of applications and is guaranteed to operate over a temperature range of -40 °C to +105 °C. The AIS328DQTR is also available in a 4x4 mm package.
