The LAN9254-V/JRX is a 3-port EtherCAT device controller (ESC) with dual integrated Ethernet PHYs, each providing a full-duplex 100BASE-TX transceiver that supports 100Mbps (100BASE-TX) operation. The LAN9254 supports HP Auto-MDIX, which allows for the use of either direct connect or cross-over LAN cables. The LAN9254 supports HP Auto-MDIX, allowing the use of direct connect or crossover LAN cables. The device provides a cost-effective solution for system developers to implement EtherCAT device solutions.

The LAN9254 includes a 3-port EtherCAT device controller with 8K bytes of dual-port memory (DPRAM), 8 synchronisation managers, 8 fieldbus memory management units (FMMUs) and a 64-bit distributed clock.
