The ADSP-21363KSWZ-1AA integrates dedicated peripherals designed to simplify hardware design, minimise design risk and minimise time-to-market. These functional modules are grouped together (collectively referred to as the Digital Audio Interface, DAI) and can also be connected to external pins via the software-programmable Signal Routing Unit (SRU), an innovative architectural feature that enables comprehensive and flexible routing between DAI components. Peripherals connected via the SRU include (but are not limited to) serial ports, SPI ports, and an 8-channel asynchronous sample rate converter module.
