The TPS25846QWRHBRQ1 is a USB Type-A BC1.2 charging solution that includes a synchronous DC/DC converter. With cable buck compensation, the Vbus voltage remains constant regardless of load current variations, ensuring that connected portable devices are charged at optimal current and voltage even under heavy loads. High-bandwidth analogue switches for DP and DM straight-through are included. The device also incorporates battery short-circuit protection on the VBUS, DM_IN and DP_IN pins. These pins can withstand voltages up to 18 V.
