The MCS1803GS-50 is a single-channel ±50A linear Hall effect current sensor for AC or DC current sampling. The Hall sensor array is differential and can cancel out any stray magnetic field. A primary conductor with low resistance allows current to flow close to the IC, which contains a high-precision Hall effect sensor. This current generates a magnetic field, which is detected by an integrated Hall effect sensor at two different points. The series is ideal for motor control, automotive systems, load detection and management, switching mode power supply and overcurrent fault protection applications.
