The MCS1803GS-20 is a single-channel ±20A linear Hall effect current sensor for AC or DC current sampling. The Hall sensor array is differential and can cancel out any stray magnetic field. A primary conductor with low resistance allows current to flow close to the IC, which contains a high-precision Hall effect sensor. This current generates a magnetic field, which is detected by an integrated Hall effect sensor at two different points.
