IFX9201SGAUMA1 is a general-purpose 6A H-bridge driver for controlling small DC motors and inductive loads. Pulse width modulation of the output can be performed at frequencies up to 20kHz. This allows operating frequencies beyond the range of sound waves that can be heard by the human ear - controlled via PWM/DIR. The signal at the directional output defines the direction of the DC motor, while the PWM signal controls the duty cycle. For load currents that exceed the current limiting threshold (typically 7A), the H-bridge driver switches to chopper current limiting mode. The device provides protection against short circuits and overtemperature conditions, and provides analysis via SPI or basic error feedback via status flags.
