The LTC2941CMS8E measures battery charging status in battery-powered handheld PC and portable product applications. Its operating range is ideal for single lithium-ion batteries. The LTC2941 has programmable high and low charge thresholds for accumulated charge. If a threshold is exceeded, the device uses the SMBus alarm protocol or transmits an alarm signal by setting a flag in the internal status register.
