The FXPQ3115BVST1 is a compact piezoresistive absolute pressure sensor with an I2C digital interface. It has a wide operating range of 20 kPa to 110 kPa. The sensor is ideal for inhalers, continuous positive airway pressure (CPAP) masks, or other air-contact medical devices.The MEMS and ASIC chips are coated with a biomedically approved gel. The gel is a non-toxic, non-allergenic elastomer that meets all U.S. Pharmacopeia (USP) biotest grade requirements. The properties of the gel allow for uniform pressure transfer to the MEMS diaphragm.
