The BQ25606 single-cell 3A fast charger is a stand-alone switch-mode battery charge management and system power path management device. The device is suitable for use in single-cell Li-Ion and Li-polymer batteries. The low-impedance power path optimizes switch-mode operation efficiency, reducing battery charging time and extending battery life during the discharge phase. The BQ25606 uses high input voltage fast charging and is suitable for a variety of stand-alone chargers and portable devices. Input voltage and current regulation provides maximum charging power for the battery. The solution highly integrates the input reverse blocking FET (RBFET, Q1), high-side switching FET (HSFET, Q2), low-side switching FET (LSFET, Q3) and battery FET (BATFET, Q4) between system and battery . The device also integrates a bootstrap diode for the high-side gate driver to simplify system design.
