Product Description

The MSP430FR5994IPNR mixed-signal microcontrollers (MCUs) feature a unique low-power accelerator (LEA) for digital signal processing that takes its low-power features and device performance to new heights. With up to 40 times the performance of ARM® Cortex®-M0+ MCUs, this accelerator assists developers in efficiently processing data using complex functions such as FFT, FIR and matrix multiplication. The freely available optimised DSP libraries can be implemented without the need for DSP experts. In addition, the devices feature up to 256KB of FRAM unified standard memory, providing more space for advanced applications and more flexibility to implement over-the-air firmware updates.
