The TLE4973RE35D5S0001 is a high precision miniature coreless magnetic current sensor for AC and DC measurements with analogue interface and fast overcurrent detection output. It avoids the negative effects (saturation, hysteresis) of open-loop sensors with flux concentration technology. The differential measuring principle allows significant suppression of stray magnetic fields for operation in harsh environments. Highly configurable and customisable for a wide range of applications. User-programmable parameters such as OCD thresholds and sensitivity settings are stored in an embedded EEPROM. Device configuration is done locally via a single-wire UART interface called the Digital Control Diagnostic Interface (DCDI), which provides read/write access to the device's internal registers, allowing diagnostic modes to be triggered and temperature, OCD, and safety status to be read. It has auto-addressing capabilities and can handle up to eight slave devices on a single bus.
