The ADPD2140BCPZN is an optical sensor for measuring the angle of incident infrared light. The light angle calculated using the device response has a linearity of ±5° over a ±35° angular field of view. The radiatively sensitive area of 0.31 mm2 provides low junction capacitance and low dark current for superior integration with the device's photometric front-end. Can be used in conjunction with a synchronised infrared light source, such as a light emitting diode (LED), to detect user hand movement for gesture recognition.
