The MAXM86146CFU optical biosensing module combines ADI's best-in-class optical biosensing analogue front end (AFE) with a powerful Arm® microcontroller unit (MCU) and two high-sensitivity photodiodes. The integrated MCU is an ultra-low-power microcontroller designed for use in battery-powered devices and wireless sensors.ADI includes a flexible and versatile power management unit that is powered by a single 1.8V supply. It supports the I2C communication protocol and is ready to be programmed with the latest firmware and world-class algorithms for wearable applications such as pulse heart rate (HR) and pulse oximetry (SpO2).
