The ADUCM342WFSBCPZ is a fully integrated 8kHz data acquisition system that integrates a dual-channel, high-performance, multichannel σ-δ-analog-to-digital converter (ADC), 32-bit ARM® Cortex™-M3 processor, and flash memory. The ADuCM342 has 128kB flash /EE memory and 4kB data flash. All flash and SRAM memory have error correction codes (ECC).

The ADuCM342 is a complete system solution for battery monitoring in 12V automotive electronics applications. The device integrates all the features needed to accurately and intelligently monitor, process, and diagnose 12V battery parameters, including battery current, voltage, and temperature, over a wide range of operating conditions.

To minimize external system components, this kit is powered directly from a 12V battery. The on-chip Low Voltage Difference (LDO) regulator generates the supply voltage for two integrated sigma-δ ADCs. The ADC can accurately measure battery current, voltage, and temperature to characterize the health and charge state of the automotive battery.
