The ADSP-TS101SAB1Z100 TigerSHARC® processor is a high-performance, static Superscalar™ processor optimized for large-scale signal processing tasks and communication infrastructure. This DSP integrates a very wide memory width and a dual-channel computing module, supporting 32 and 40-bit floating-point processing as well as 8, 16, 32 and 64-bit fixed-point processing, setting a new performance standard for digital signal processors. The static superscalar architecture of the TigerSHARC processor enables the processor to execute up to four instructions per cycle, thereby performing 24 fixed-point (16-bit) operations or six floating-point operations.
The ADSP-TS101SAB1Z100 has the following main features:

6-bit internal on-chip SRAM memory
19 mm× 19 mm (484 pins) CSP_BGA or 27 mm× 27 mm (625 pins) PBGA package
Dual-channel computing module - each contains an ALU, multiplier, shifter and register file
Dual-channel integer ALU, providing data addressing and pointer operations
The integrated I/O includes a 14-channel DMA controller, external ports, 4 link ports, an SDRAM controller, programmable flag pins, 2 timers, and a timer expiration pin for system integration.
A JTAG test access port compliant with the 1149.1 IEEE standard for on-chip simulation
Supports seamless multi-processing on-chip arbitration, with up to 8 TigerSHARC processors on the bus
It provides high-performance static superscalar DSP operation and is optimized for telecommunications infrastructure and other demanding large-scale multi-processor DSP applications
Outstanding DSP algorithm and I/O benchmark performance (refer to the benchmarks in Tables 1 and 2 of the data sheet)
