The LT3088MPM is an 800mA low dropout linear regulator designed for demanding industrial applications. A key feature of the IC is the extended safe operating area (SOA).The LT3088 can be connected in parallel to provide higher output current or dissipate heat. The device can withstand reverse input and reverse output to input voltage with no reverse current.

The LT3088MPM's highly accurate 50μA reference current source allows the output voltage to be set at any level between 0V and 34.5V by a single resistor. This current reference architecture makes load regulation independent of output voltage, and the LT3088 can be stabilised with or without input and output capacitors.

Internal protection circuitry includes reverse battery and reverse current protection, current limiting, and thermal limiting.The LT3088MPM is available in a 3-pin DD-PAK package.
