The R5F565NCDGFP RX microcontrollers add four 64-pin MCUs to the mainstream RX651 MCUs featuring the RXv2 core CPU.The RX651 64-pin MCUs provide superior security and flash memory capabilities for industrial applications. Each MCU's Trusted Security IP (TSIP) and Flash area protection supports Trusted Root Device operation. The dual-region flash feature (BGO and SWAP) enables easy flash firmware updates via secure network communication, and the 64-pin package reduces PCB footprint for IoT edge applications.

● 64-pin devices with a Trusted Secure IP encryption engine have the option to implement Trusted Root by combining the following three new features:

● Protection of encryption keys using TSIP

● Integration of cryptographic hardware accelerators such as RSA, AES, 3DES, SHA and TRNG in the TSIP
