The ADUM4137WBRNZ is a single-channel gate driver optimised for driving insulated gate bipolar transistors (IGBTs). Analog Devices' iCoupler® technology provides isolation between the input signal and the output gate. Analog Devices' chip gate transformers also provide isolated communication between control information. Isolated control information communication is provided between the high-voltage and low-voltage domains of the chip. Information about chip status can be read from dedicated fault outputs for chip status information. Isolated faults are provided to report overcurrent events, remote temperature overheat events.
