The STGAP1BS is a galvanically isolated single gate driver for N-channel MOSFETs and IGBTs with advanced protection, configuration, and diagnostic features.The STGAP1BS architecture isolates the channel from the control and low-voltage interface circuits through true galvanic isolation. The gate driver has a 5 A capability, making it also suitable for high power inverter applications such as motor drives in hybrid and electric vehicles and industrial drives. The output driver section provides rail-to-rail outputs, allowing the use of negative gate driver power supplies.
