The MAX16813BATP/V high-efficiency, high-brightness LED (HB LED) driver provides four integrated LED current-link channels. The integrated current-mode switching controller drives a DC-DC converter to provide the required voltage for multiple strings of HB LEDs. The device accepts a wide input voltage range of 4.75V to 40V and withstands direct automotive load droop events. The wide input range can power HB LEDs for small to medium sized automotive LCD displays.
