The TAS5431QPWPRQ1 is ideal for use as a mono Class D audio amplifier, telematics, dashboard and infotainment applications. The device delivers up to 8 watts of power at 4 Ω with total harmonic distortion (THD)+N less than 10%. The wide operating voltage range and excellent efficiency make the device ideal for start-stop support or running on battery backup when needed. Integrated load-surge protection reduces the cost and size of external voltage clamps, and on-board load diagnostics report the status of the speaker via I2C.
