The LT8253EUFDM is a synchronous 4-switch boost controller optimized for automotive USB-C power. When used in conjunction with a USB Type-C or PD port controller, the LT8253EUFDM is fully compliant with the Power over USB (PD) specification. The slew rate of the output voltage can be controlled via the FB pin. The LT8253EUFDM provides up to 100W output power and 98% peak efficiency when operating below the AM band. When operating above the AM band, the LT8253EUF can provide up to 60W of output power and 95% peak efficiency.
The LT8253EUFDM supports a single buck-boost output with a C-type port with a power good symbol. Overcurrent, overvoltage, and short-circuit protection are also provided.
