The MAX15095AGFCs are an integrated solution for integrated hot-swap applications. They can also be used as electronic circuit breakers for hard drives, solid state drives and fans. Electronic circuit breakers for drives, solid state drives, and fans. These devices integrate a hot-swap controller (10.6mΩ typical) power MOSFET, as well as electronic circuit breaker protection. These devices are designed to protect supply voltages from 2.7V to 18V. Foldback current limiting during startup controls inrush current, reduces di/dt, and keeps the MOSFETs in safe operating area (SOA) conditions.
