The LT8698SJV is a compact, high-efficiency, synchronous monolithic step-down switching regulator designed to provide up to 3A power to a 5V USB VBUS rail from an input voltage of up to 42V. Programmable cable drop compensation maintains accurate 5V VBUS cable drop compensation adjustment even when the USB socket is separated from the LT8698S by a long cable, such as a car harness. Quiet switching technology and optional spread spectrum modulation provide ultra-low EMI/EMC.
