The MC33AR6000BGWS is an integrated circuit used to regulate the output voltage of an automotive alternator. It supplies current to the alternator's excitation coil through a high voltage side MOSFET and provides an internal continuity diode. It maintains the battery at its rated charge and provides current to the vehicle's electrical equipment. The integrated circuit provides a Load Response Control (LRC) mechanism that allows the ECU to control the regulation voltage, LRC rate, etc. It can use an OTP (fuse) or a LRC. It can be programmed with an OTP (fuse) for most functions and is suitable for a wide range of alternators and applications.
