The MLX90287 is a second-generation all-in-one single-coil fan driver with a high-sensitivity Hall sensor and AGC control for optimal low noise/high efficiency commutation control regardless of magnetic field strength. The PWM input allows the fan speed to be controlled in combination with multiple resistance-configurable Settings to adapt the speed curve to the requirements of the specific application. For low noise fan control in VGA card cooling applications, the Gen II low noise motor control feature has also been used in demanding home appliances, white goods, industrial and automotive cooling systems.
