The MAX4896ETP 8-channel relay and load driver is designed for medium-voltage applications up to 50V. The device is available in a 20-pin, 5mm x 5mm TQFN package for significant board space savings. Built-in inductive bounce protection, latching/non-latching or dual-coil relay drivers, open-load and short-circuit fault detection, and overcurrent protection are provided. Each individual open-drain output has a 3Ω (typical) on-resistance and is guaranteed to be stable under overcurrent conditions. On-resistance and guaranteed to withstand a load current of 200mA (VS ≥ 4.0V).
