The TCAN1462-Q1 are high-speed Controller Area Network (CAN) transceivers that meet the physical layer requirements of the ISO 11898-2:2016 high-speed CAN specification and the CiA 601-4 signal improvement function (SIC) specification. These devices reduce signal ringing from the dominant to the recessive edge and enable higher throughput in complex network topologies. The signal improvement function enables many applications to operate at 2Mbps, 5Mbps and higher in large networks with multiple unterminated stubs, thus exploiting the true benefits of CAN FD (flexible data rate).
