The TCA9536DGKR is a 4-bit I/O expander for the I2C bus that operates at 1.65V to 5.5V VCC. It provides universal remote I/O expansion for most microcontroller families via an I2C interface. The system controller can enable I/O as input or output by writing the I/O configuration register bits. The device is well suited for applications including personal electronics, servers and routers.
