The LTM4702EY is a complete 8A step-down Silent Switcher® μModule® regulator in a miniature 6.25mm × 6.25mm × 5.07mm BGA package. The package includes the switching controller, power MOSFET, inductor, and ancillary components.The LTM4702EY operates over an input voltage range of 3V to 16V, and it supports an output voltage range of 0.3V to 5.7V. Setting the output voltage with a single resistor provides unity gain operation over the output range and results in nearly constant output noise independent of output voltage. Only bulk input and output capacitors are required to complete the design.
