The MCP9803-M/MSVAO sensor comes with a user programmable register that provides flexibility for temperature detection applications. Register Settings allow the user to select an 11-bit temperature measurement resolution, configure power-saving turn-off and single sampling (single conversion on command when turned off) mode, and specify temperature alarm output and hysteresis limits. When the temperature changes beyond the specified limit, the MCP9803 will output an alarm signal.
