The AWR1843 automotive radar sensors are packaged antenna devices that operate in the 76 GHz to 81 GHz band.The AWR1843 uses TI's low-power 45 nm RFCMOS process to achieve ultra-high integration in a miniature form factor.The AWR1843 sensors are ideally suited for low-power, self-monitoring, ultra-precise radar systems in automotive applications.
The AWR1843 automotive radar sensor integrates a DSP subsystem consisting of a high performance C674x DSP for radar signal processing. The device uses a BIST processor subsystem for radio configuration, control and calibration. In addition, these automotive radar sensors include a user-programmable Arm® Cortex-R4F for automotive connectivity.
