The LTC2954IDDB-2 is a pushbutton ON/OFF controller that manages system power through a pushbutton interface. An enable output is responsible for triggering system power, while an interrupt output is responsible for providing anti-reverse button status. The interrupt output can be used in menu-driven applications to request a system power-down operation. A power-down input allows the microprocessor or system to reset the enable outputs to effectively power down the system. Independently adjustable turn-on and turn-off timers enable reliable push-button control of the enable outputs and prevent accidental triggering of the system power supply.

The LTC2954IDDB-2 operates over a wide input voltage range of 2.7V to 26.4V to accommodate a wide variety of input supplies. Very low quiescent current (6μA typical) makes the LTC2954 ideal for battery-powered applications.
