The MAX20039BATPB/VY ICs are a family of small synchronous buck-boost converters with integrated high-side and low-side switches. The integrated circuits provide an accurate output voltage of ±2%. Voltage quality can be monitored by observing the PGOOD signal.

The MAX20039BATPB/VY has a fixed output voltage of 5 V and a programmable range of 4.0 V to 15 V. The frequency can be adjusted from 220 kHz to 2.2 MHz, allowing the use of small external components, reducing output ripple, and ensuring no AM interference. These ICs can operate with spread-spectrum modulation and are designed to minimize EMI emissions caused by the modulation frequency.

The MAX20039BATPB/VY is available in a small (4mm x 4mm), 20-pin, side-wetting TQFN package that uses very few external components.
