Overview
The Broadcom ACPL-064L digital CMOS optocoupler is an ultra-low power, 10MBd device that integrates an AIGaAs LED and an integrated high-gain photodetector. The forward LED current of the ACPL-064L is as low as 1.6 MA, which means that most microprocessors can drive leds directly. Broadcom digital CMOS optical couplers have built-in Faraday shielding to guarantee common mode transient immunity of 20kV/ s.
The ACPL-064L achieves maximum AC and DC circuit isolation while maintaining TTL/CMOS compatibility. Broadcom digital CMOS optocoupler pressure swing rate control designed to control rise and fall times over a wide range of load capacitors. The ACPL-064L is ideal for communication interfaces, microprocessor system interfaces, and digital isolation of ADCs and Dacs.
