The DAC39RF12ACK device can be used as a non-interpolated or interpolated DAC for direct RF sampling or complex baseband signal generation.

Overview

The DAC39RF12 and DAC39RFS12 digital-to-analog converters (Dacs) offer dual-channel and single-channel options with 16-bit resolution. The DAC39RF12 and DAC39RFS12 can be used as non-interpolated or interpolated Dacs for direct RF sampling or complex baseband signal generation. The device provides a maximum input data rate of 24GSPS for a single channel or 12GSPS for a dual channel.


The DAC39RF12 and DAC39RFS12 Dacs generate signal bandwidths up to 12GHz, 7.5GHz, and 6GHz (8 bit, 12 bit, and 16 bit input resolutions) at carrier frequencies exceeding 10GHz, enabling direct sampling of C to X bands.


The high sampling rate, output frequency range, 64-bit NCO frequency resolution and any frequency hopping with phase coherence also enable arbitrary waveform generation (AWG) and direct digital synthesis (DDS).


The JESD204B and JESD204C compliant serial interface has 16 receiver pairs at rates up to 12.8Gbps. The interface complies with JESD204B and JESD204C Subclass 1 standards and enables deterministic delay and multi-device synchronization using SYSREF.
