Overview:

The LT®8471 is A dual-channel PWM DC/DC converter with two internal 2 A, 50 V switches and an additional 500 mA switch for buck and reverse conversion. Each 2 A channel can be configured independently as a buck, boost, SEPIC, flyback or inverter converter. The LT8471 can generate both positive and negative outputs from a single input rail, making it ideal for many local power supply designs.

The LT8471 uses an adjustable oscillator that can be set by a resistor connected from the RT pin to the ground potential. Additionally, the LT8471 can be synchronized with an external clock. The device's free-running or synchronous switching frequency range can be set between 100 kHz and 2 MHz.

Other features such as frequency reentry, soft start, and good power supply are also integrated. The LT8471 comes in a 20-pin TSSOP package.
