Overview

The LT4422AV is an ideal diode with an integrated P-channel MOSFET, operating within a range of 1.9V to 28V. Compared with the Schottky diode, after enabling this diode, its 15mV forward voltage regulation characteristic can significantly reduce power consumption, while increasing the operating margin and efficiency.

The LT4422AV can easily achieve the ORing function of multiple power supplies, thereby enhancing system reliability and preventing reverse conduction. When not in operation, the LT4422AV can block up to 28V of voltage at the output end, and the leakage current is less than 1μA (typical value). Its performance is several orders of magnitude higher than that of a typical Schottky diode, effectively extending battery life.

Rapid Out-to-in reverse bias detection can significantly reduce reverse current and prevent accidental charging of the input battery. When the LT4422AV is in the off or reverse bias state, the open-drain STATUS output will be pulled low.
