The ADAS1000BCPZ is an analog front end (AFE) for bioelectrical signal acquisition, especially for electrocardiogram (ECG) measurements.
Introduction
The ADAS1000BCPZ is a low-power 5-electrode electrocardiogram (ECG) analog front-end chip for the acquisition and processing of bioelectrical signals. The ADAS1000BCPZ consumes 11 MW at 1 lead, 15 MW at 3 leads, and 21mW at all electrodes . The ADAS1000BCPZ supports 5 ECG channels and 1 drive lead, and multiple ics in parallel can be used for measurements with 10 or more electrodes . In addition, the ADAS1000BCPZ has built-in AC and DC lead drop detection, 3 lead built-in pace-signal detection algorithms, chest impedance measurement (internal/external path), optional reference leads, adjustable noise and power control, and turn-off mode .
Because ECG systems are widely used, the ADAS1000BCPZ uses a power/noise adjustment structure to reduce noise at the expense of increased power consumption. Some unused signal acquisition channels can be closed, or the data rate can be reduced to achieve the purpose of saving power.
The ADAS1000BCPZ supports SPI/QSPI™/DSP compatible serial interface to provide lead or electrode data, Comply with AAMI EC11:1991/(R)2001/(R)2007, AAMI EC38 R2007, IEC60601-1 ed.3.0b :2005 and other standards .
