Description:

The ALED6000 single-chip switching regulator is designed to provide DC current up to 3A for high-power LED drives. The ALED6000 has a wide input voltage range, making it ideal for automotive systems. The 250mV typical RSENSE voltage drop improves efficiency performance by driving a dedicated DIM pin for digital dimming.

The ALED6000 monolithic switching regulator has adjustable current limits and is designed to select the inductor RMS current based on the current of the nominal output LED. The ability to adjust the switching frequency helps reduce the application size. With the improvement of digital frequency regulation, the constant current protection can be realized effectively under different application conditions. VBIAS's embedded switching function maximizes efficiency.

Multiple devices can be synchronized by sharing SYNCH pins to prevent jitter noise in low-noise applications and reduce input current RMS values.
