The XC7K355T-1FFG901I Kintex®-7 FPGA provides optimal cost performance and low power consumption for fast-growing applications and wireless communications. The Kintex™ 7 FPGA delivers superior performance and connectivity for the best cost/performance/power balance at the 28nm node.
The Kintex-7 FPGA allows designers to build superior bandwidth and 12-bit digital programmable simulations while meeting cost and power requirements. The unique power consumption of the 144GMACS digital Signal Processor (DSP) makes the versatile Kintex-7 device ideal for applications such as portable ultrasonic devices and next-generation communications. The Kintex-7 FPGA provides 800Gbps peak serial bandwidth (full duplex) and includes a CPRI/OBSAI IP kernel (9.8Gbps) optimized for distributed baseband architecture. The programmable Kintex-7 device can also be easily reconfigured to support multiple wireless interfaces, such as LTE, WiMAX and WCDMA.
Kintex-7 has built-in support for 8-channel PCI Express (Gen1/Gen2) for connecting to the host system. The 7-series devices utilize Xilinx unified architecture to protect IP investments and easily migrate 6-series designs. The unified architecture has common components, including logic structure, Block RAM, DSP, clock, analog mixed signal (AMS), and fast change targets within the 7 series. The Kintex-7 FPGA architecture greatly reduces development time, allowing designers to focus on migrating product differentiation and new projects.
