Qualcomm Technologies Inc. today announced the fourth generation of the Snapdragon® 6 mobile platform, which delivers outstanding performance and longer battery life to more users around the world and brings generative AI to the Snapdragon 6 family for the first time. The fourth-generation Snapdragon 6 is designed to redefine everyday use and create great experiences. The platform is also designed to meet the needs of users ranging from gamers seeking 4K visuals and Snapdragon Sound™ wireless lossless audio, to professionals who need reliable connectivity anytime, anywhere, and creators who look forward to capturing bright photos and video images day or night.

Leading OEMs such as Honor, OPPO and realme realme are expected to launch smartphones powered by the fourth-generation Snapdragon 6 mobile platform in the coming months.

The fourth-generation Snapdragon 6 is manufactured for the first time using TSMC's 4nm process and introduces CPU cores with ARMv9 architecture. Its CPU is an 8-core design with a specific configuration of one Cortex-A720@2.3GHz, 3颗Cortex-A720@2.2GHz and 4颗Cortex-A520@1.8GHz; and the GPU is an Adreno 710.
