The LIS3MDLTR is an ultra-low-power, high-performance 3-axis magnetometer with user-selectable full-scale ranges of ±4/±8/±12/±16 Gauss.

The self-test function allows users to verify the sensor's functionality in the final application.

When configured, the device can generate interrupt signals for magnetic field detection.

The LIS3MDLTR includes an I²C serial bus interface supporting standard mode and fast mode (100 kHz and 400 kHz), as well as multiple SPI serial standard interfaces.  

The LIS3MDLTR is housed in a slim, compact plastic grid array (LGA) package, ensuring reliable operation over a wider temperature range (-40°C to +85°C).
